Description
Research Connect Nigeria (RCN) invites proposals for a grant aimed at enhancing its participant registry through a cost-effective intervention with a maximum budget of N100,000.00. RCN is dedicated to enhancing Nigeria's research infrastructure, and building an expanded and robust research participant registry in the country including socially disadvantaged and minority populations. These populations encompass but are not limited to women, non-educated individuals, digital natives, older adults, and professionals. The selected proposal will receive the grant and will be expected to execute the research within a 6-month timeframe. This opportunity presents a unique chance to contribute to the advancement of research accessibility and diversity in Nigeria.
Eligibility
Applicants must be based in Nigeria and affiliated with an accredited research institution, such as a tertiary education institution or independent researcher.
Applicants must have a post graduate degree or are currently enrolled in a post graduate degree program in any Nigerian University.
Proposal should not be part of an ongoing project or part of another grant.
Conducted research or engaged in academic projects related to improving the quality of life.

Outline of a brief research proposal [max. 3 pages] :
Title of the research project;
Half a page justification for the proposed research
Specific research questions or goals of the project
Research Methodology
Expected Outcomes: Anticipated findings of the research, and its contribution to knowledge, policy, or practice
Project Timeline
Ethical approval or evidence of ethical request.
Budget Justification: A breakdown of the budget, explaining the rationale behind each expense
Review Process
Applications will be reviewed by the Research Connect Nigeria Leadership Committee and members of the community.

Give a quarterly progress report on milestone achievements

Be willing to share results or findings with RCN for our website publications
